InjuryTeam will hold first full practice of the week Wednesday

As had been expected, running back Marshawn Lynch is back working out at the Seahawks’ practice facility in Renton, coach Pete Carroll said during his regular Monday radio show on ESPN 710 Seattle.

Lynch has not played since Nov. 15 against Arizona due to an abdominal injury that required surgery on Nov. 25. But he is expected to be available when the Seahawks begin the playoffs Sunday at Minnesota. Carroll had said on Friday he anticipated that Lynch would return on Monday. Nerdy Football Analysis: In the last seven games without Lynch, the Seahawks’ offense averaged 32 points, second in the NFL. But Thomas Rawls went down with an ankle injury in Week 14, and the team has been going with Christine Michael and Bryce Brown at running back. While it is always possible “Beast Mode” could step right back into a full workload if he is cleared to play this weekend, the risk of playing him in playoff leagues is probably much higher than the reward.
