LSU RB expected to be high first-round pick

Running back Leonard Fournette’s days as a college football player will come to an end after LSU plays in the Citrus Bowl against Louisville. Fournette announced his intention to enter the 2017 draft with a statement on Monday, although it would be hard to find anyone who thought that the running back would return to Baton Rouge for another season. Fournette ran for 2,987 yards and scored 33 touchdowns in his first two seasons with the Tigers and has added 843 more yards and another score this season despite missing four games with a high-ankle sprain that has dogged him for most of the season. Nerdy Football Analysis: At 6-1 and 235 pounds, Fournette has already garnered comparisons to Bo Jackson and Adrian Peterson. While he needs to refine his skills in the passing game, dynasty owners would be wise to start doing whatever they can to secure the No. 1 overall pick in their rookie drafts. Fournette is very likely to be a first-round pick in redraft leagues as well almost regardless of where he lands. His final college game will come on Dec. 31 at the Citrus Bowl against Louisville. Watch it.
