InjuryMissed final two games of regular season with ankle injury

Miller, inactive for the final two games of the regular season with an ankle injury, returned to practice this week. The Texans starting running back admits it was hard to sit out, but knew the bigger picture was to be prepared and ready for the postseason.

“I think it helped me out a lot,” Miller said. “I feel fresh right now. I’ve been getting a lot of treatment, you know doing some conditioning and just trying to stay in shape, so I feel good.”

Nerdy Football Analysis: Getting two weeks off this late in the year should have Lamar Miller looking spry for Houston’s tilt against the Raiders. With a solid chance at 20 touches, he is one of the better running back options available to fantasy owners on Wildcard Weekend. Miller’s return will force Alfred Blue back into a reserve role where he will see limited action this weekend.
