Ladarius Green (concussion) was among the notable (injured) Chargers to practice Thursday.
Green was a limited participant Wednesday due to a concussion, which he suffered Sunday versus the Bengals and was diagnosed with on Tuesday after he reported symptoms, the team said. It’s his second such diagnosis this month. He was determined to have a concussion Sept. 9 following a practice. The Chargers signed tight end Kyle Miller on Thursday for some insurance at the position. Green notably was concussed last December, losing consciousness on a hit by a Patriots cornerback. Nerdy Football Analysis: It’s more than a bit surprising Green is even allowed to run at this point, much less practice in a limited fashion, and may even be irresponsible on the Chargers’ part. Given how little time has passed in between Green’s last two concussions, it seems highly unlikely he will be allowed to play at Minnesota this weekend. With Antonio Gates still serving the final two games of his suspension, John Phillips will almost certainly the start but is well off the fantasy map.
