Nerdy Football Analysis: Considering Herbert will likely be playing for the first time in almost two months this month, there is a decent chance he won’t serve as a true 1B to David Montgomery’s 1A status. With that said, a lot of that figures to be determined in how he practices this week. Before his injury, Herbert was regularly handling about 10 carries per game. If he is active against Buffalo this weekend, fantasy managers should consider him as a volatile but high-upside flex option.
