Hamstring injury
The #Vikings plan to place WR Justin Jefferson on injured reserve because of the hamstring injury he suffered in Sunday’s loss to Kansas City, per sources.
The exact timeline is TBD based on how he responds to treatment. But Jefferson is out at least four games. (Tom Pelissero on X)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Ouch. The Vikings offense is based around Jefferson so they’ll have to make-do without their best offensive weapon. Brandon Powell saw a 30.6% snap share against the Chiefs last week and will likely see more playing time moving forward. However, Jordan Addison, K.J. Osborn and TE T.J. Hockenson are likely to be the top targets for Kirk Cousins while Jefferson is out.
