Nerdy Football Analysis: This is the kind of thing that can happen when a team asks its quarterback to be the passing game AND the running game. Allen handled 12 of the Bills’ 19 rush attempts in Week 14 and also attempted 54 passes, which is great for fantasy but bad for his long-term durability. The Bills will be forced to turn to Mitchell Trubisky in the unlikely event Allen sits in Week 15 versus the Packers, but Buffalo would be wise to try harder to get something going with its running backs moving forward.
