Week 9 injury changed throwing motion until end of season
Josh Allen said that it was just two weeks ago when he felt like he was able to get back to the mechanics/throwing motion he likes due to his right elbow injury. Had to adapt it due to the injury. (ESPN.com – Alaina Getzenberg)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Allen appeared on the injury report from Week 10 through last week, so this news should not come as a complete shock. There was some thought a month or so ago that Allen’s turnover woes were the product of this injury, but that notion seemed to be refuted by the fact that his regular-season production in 2022 was nearly identical to his numbers from 2021. It should be a complete non-issue by the time OTAs start this spring. Allen figures to be the first quarterback off the board in fantasy drafts quite often again in 2023.
