Saw only three touches after first two drives in Week 9

Reich chalks up Jonathan Taylor’s lack of carries after the fumble to a lack of rushes in the second half overall. Colts had six runs after halftime.

Nerdy Football Analysis: It appeared as if Reich made establishing Taylor a priority early on, but it’s a weak excuse from Reich as Indy didn’t trail by more than four points until four minutes into the fourth quarter. He didn’t even have the excuse of Jordan Wilkins being “hot” this week, nor did Indy pepper Nyheim Hines with targets after the Ravens went up two scores. At this point, Reich is doing about everything he can to stunt the confidence of his rookie back. Until Reich comes to his senses, Indy appears to have little more than three flex options at running back.
