Missed last two games in concussion protocol

Nerdy Football Analysis: Mixon was close enough to playing Sunday that the team kept the door open for him to clear protocol until early Sunday afternoon. Samaje Perine was very good while handling the overwhelming majority of volume in his absence. Mixon was limited in practice all of last week, so it would surprising if isn’t a full-go by Wednesday or Thursday. He will be a solid RB1 option against the Browns in the likely event he plays, while Perine will be a back-end RB1 option if Mixon sits out a third straight contest.
