Reports indicate Mixon will need arthroscopic surgery on his knee and sought a second opinion. The issue is not thought to be serious through the lens of the season, but could keep Mixon out for a couple games, via Adam Schefter. The good news for the Bengals is they have 10 days off until they play at Carolina. (Cincinnati Enquirer)

While Mixon is out, Giovani Bernard will take over as the lead back with Tra Carson and Mark Walton filling out the depth chart.
