Brock Purdy expected to start at QB
#49ers coach Kyle Shanahan tells reporters that QB Jimmy Garoppolo broke his foot. He’s having surgery and is out for the season.

Nerdy Football Analysis: Just brutal for the 49ers who have now lost their top two quarterbacks this season. Trey Lance was injured Week 1 and now Garoppolo in Week 13.
