Receiver Jeremy Maclin was listed as questionable heading into Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but after he cleared the league’s concussion protocol and practiced on Friday, he appeared to have a pretty good shot at playing.
But things changed on Sunday morning, when the team decided Maclin would sit as he continues to recover from a concussion he suffered Oct. 18 against Minnesota.

Nerdy Football Analysis: Chiefs coach Andy Reid said he and head athletic trainer Rick Burkholder could tell that Maclin – who they spent time with in Philadelphia during 2009-12 – did not quite feel at ease with playing. given how close he was to playing in Week 7, he’s a good shot to suit up for the game in London on Sunday.
