Injured early in Week 2
Five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Jarvis Landry is considered week to week with a sprained medial collateral ligament, Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday on Zoom.
Stefanski stopped short of ruling out Landry for Browns (1-1) versus Bears (1-1), but the “week to week” label indicates Landry is not expected to play and could miss multiple games. (Akron Beacon Journal)
Nerdy Football Analysis: The Brown have been without Odell Beckham Jr. the first two games of the season but there’s hope he could back for Week 3 against the Bears. Landry was hurt early in the game against Houston finishing with 1 catch for 9 yards. If Beckham isn’t able to play, Donovan Peoples-Jones, Anthony Schwartz, and Rashard Higgins would serve as the top three wideouts.
