New York Jets RB Chris Ivory injured his hamstring against the New England Patriots in a Week 7 30-23 loss. Ivory doesn’t believe the injury will force him to miss future game time.

“I felt a little tightness in my hamstring the first play,” Ivory said. “I didn’t have the confidence in getting around the edge. I’m fine. I’m ready to go for next week.” (Nerdy Football)

Nerdy Football Analysis: For what it is worth, HC Todd Bowles said his main runner was dealing with tightness in his quad. Injuries are part of the risk that comes along with owning Ivory, who ranks sixth in the league in rushing with 501 yards despite he’s missed a full game and the Jets have had their bye week. Zac Stacy appears to be the next man up for now as Bilal Powell (ankle) and Stevan Ridley (knee) were inactive for Week 7. Stacy was already stealing some passing-down work from Ivory in Powell’s absence, so he is certainly worth a speculative add in most leagues.
