On a more positive note, Kingsbury said the injury to RB Kenyan Drake wasn’t as bad as first feared. He called Drake “day to day” although he wasn’t sure that meant playing this week. Said Cards and Drake were “very fortunate” from what it first looked like. (Darren Urban on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: We were expecting a multi-week absence from Drake but it sounds like he may be able to return in Week 10 against the Bills. Assuming Drake sits in Week 9, Chase Edmonds against the Dolphins is shaping up to be one of the better running back plays of the week.
