Apparent left shoulder injury
The Patriots had their depth tested on Sunday after three players suffered injuries during practice. The big name was Hunter Henry. The tight end came up hurting after an on-field collision. Patriots trainers took him back to their shed where it looked like they were focusing on his left shoulder. After that, Henry left the field and didn’t return to practice. (The Providence Journal)
Nerdy Football Analysis: It’s too early to draw any conclusions, but he is expected to undergo an MRI on Monday. Henry has played only 56 of a possible 82 games since joining the league in 2016 due mostly to injury, most notably missing the entire 2018 season with an ACL tear. Any significant absence would likely mean Jonnu Smith sees even more targets than he is already expected to get.
