Pats likely to get one offensive weapon back this week
Rob Gronkowski will miss this week’s New England Patriots game versus the Philadelphia Eagles, as expected. The All Pro tight end has been ruled out for Week 13 with a knee injury. As NFL Media’s Albert Breer points out, it’s not a good sign for the next week’s availability when the Patriots rule out a player on Friday. With Julian Edelman (foot) also sidelined, Tom Brady would benefit from Danny Amendola’s return to the lineup. Amendola is expected to suit up, barring a setback. (NFL.com)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Last Friday, it looked as though Amendola would suit for the Pats’ tilt with the Broncos but he was later ruled out. Amendola owners will want to monitor his status leading up to the 4:25 pm ET kickoff.
