Sidelined by broken bone in foot since Week 8
As expected, 49ers are activating TE George Kittle from injured reserve. Kittle will be available to play Saturday against Arizona after getting through practice past two weeks without issue. (ESPN – Nick Wagoner)
Nerdy Football Analysis: It was reported earlier that Kittle was expected to play Saturday, and his activation today pretty much seals it. Considering he hasn’t seen game action since Week 8 and will be on somewhat of a snap count, Kittle doesn’t possess the kind of upside he typically would, but one has to believe HC Kyle Shanahan will make the most of the 30 or so reps the stud tight end receives. Consider him a mid-range TE1 with significant upside.
