InjuryRB bothered by a sore ankle

The Ravens might be without two of their opening day running backs on Sunday. Starting back Justin Forsett returned to practice Friday, but remains a “game-time decision” with an ankle injury, coach John Harbaugh told the media. This news comes just two days after Baltimore placed backup running back Lorenzo Taliaferro (foot) on season-ending injured reserve and promoted rookie back Javorius Allen. After a slow start, Forsett has started to heat up for the struggling Ravens. Against two division rivals, Forsett ran for 150 and 121 yards in consecutive weeks, averaging at least 5.6 yards per carry in each game. While Allen gashed the Browns last week for a career-high 58 yards on just eight rushes, he has yet to start a game in the NFL and has never rushed for more than nine times in a game. (NFL.com)

Nerdy Football Analysis: Forsett owners would be wise to have Javorius Allen ready to go on Sunday should the veteran back sit out of the Ravens’s tilt with the woeful San Francisco 49ers.
