If Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick decides to have surgery on his left thumb before the end of the season-and he’s considering it-he may not have to miss any games, according to a surgeon who specializes in treating hand and elbow injuries. (NJ.com)

Nerdy Football Analysis: Fitzpatrick is considering surgery this Friday (the Jets play Thursday night) but might still be a able to play the rest of the season wearing a protective glove. The injury is on his non-throwing hand and recovery time is said to be at least eight weeks.
