Fantasy Football Week 8: Friday's Daily Fantasy Market Report

Well, here we are. Week 8, better known as bye-pocalypse, consists of six teams on bye, creating some fantasy football conundrums on the main, 10-slate contest.

At quarterback there are a handful of guys I’m in on, wide receiver is somewhat top-heavy, running back has value throughout and it’s looking like another punt week at tight end.

As a tournament player, the ownership percentages for a lot of my favorite plays this weekend could be tantalizing, but that’s where we earn our money—exploiting fellow ownership percentages, and projecting ownership for players.

For instance, Denver Broncos running back Devontae Booker is about as chalky as it gets this week, and I’m going to have 100 percent exposure. Why? Well, if he goes off, at least I won’t need to be playing from behind.

On the flip side, someone like Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott could have a lower ownership, regardless of how awesome he’s been this season due to the stoutness of his opponent’s—the Philadelphia Eagles—defense.

Good luck in Week 8—this is the smallest main slate we’ll have to deal with this season.
