Nerdy Football Analysis: We know roughly as much about Zeke’s playing status now as we did back in August. Elliott’s most recent stay was not given an end date, so he will be allowed to play until the three-man Second Circuit panel makes their decision, which could take days or weeks. It’s unclear if the NFL or Elliott has more legal moves left, but owners should still err on the side of caution and expect the second-year back to serve his suspension until he is cleared for good.
