Eligible to return from IR after missing last three games

Nerdy Football Analysis: Brees can return this week, but it is anyone’s guess how quickly a 41-year-old man can be expected to fully recover from 11 broken ribs and a collapsed lung. The Saints are holding onto the No. 1 seed in the NFC with relative ease without him, going 3-0 with Taysom Hill under center. Fantasy owners of Alvin Kamara and Jared Cook would like to see Brees return sooner than later, but it appears they may have to wait at least one more week.
