A bumpy 2018 season for the Jags starting running back

Doug Marrone is optimistic about Leonard Fournette. “We had a good meeting. I’m not going to speak for Leonard, but when he left that meeting … I think he’s in a really good place. That’s encouraging and I’m excited about that.” “We just talked: where we’re going, where we want to go, what we want to do,” Marrone said. “We set out a plan, and I feel good about it.” (Jaguars.com)

Nerdy Football Analysis: Fournette missed 7 games this season mostly due to a hamstring injury but also didn’t do himself any favors at times by involving himself in a fight against Buffalo in Week 12 which drew the wrath of Tom Coughlin. For what it’s worth, Terry Robiskie has replaced Tyrone Wheatley as the team’s running back coach. Given what transpired this past season and his injury history, it will be difficult for fantasy owners to trust Fournette as anything other than a RB2 heading into 2019.
