Colts WR outshining veteran receivers with athletic catches
On a night when his more esteemed teammates could not gain any traction, Donte Moncrief picked up the slack for T.Y. Hilton and Andre Johnson. Moncrief caught seven passes (on eight targets) for 122 yards and a TD, a performance that ranks second in his career to a 133-yard performance against the Washington Redskins last season. Nerdy Football Analysis: Moncrief has shown growth as a receiver this season, becoming more than just the one-dimensional deep threat he was, at times, last season. Fantasy owners (as well as the Colts) can only hope that growth continues as the teams looks for consistent offensive production.
