<div>Shaun Draughn, Kendall Gaskins, Pierre Thomas' Post-Week 9 Fantasy Advice</div>

Heading into Week 9, one of the biggest locks on everyone’s board was the Atlanta Falcons taking down the Blaine Gabbert-led San Francisco 49ers

Whoops.

Behind Gabbert’s two touchdown passes and a stellar defensive effort, the 49ers pulled off a 17-16 upset on Sunday that may come back to haunt Atlanta come December. San Francisco held Devonta Freeman to just 12 rushing yards, though he did manage 67 yards and a score on the ground.

On the other side, the 49ers entered the game without their top three projected running backs and made the best of a bad situation. Shaun Draughn led the team with 16 carries for 58 yards, Kendall Gaskins added 20 on his seven carries and Pierre Thomas had 12 yards on his four attempts.

None of those performances inspires a great deal of confidence, but Draughn looks like the guy you’d want from a fantasy perspective. In his fourth NFL season, Draughn is already on his eighth NFL franchise. He was last seen during a five-game stint with the Cleveland Browns earlier this season.

“I’m just a guy who’s willing to work,” Draughn said this week, per Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com. “I can one-cut, get downhill. … I think I’m decent.”

The fact Draughn got so much work less than a week into his tenure says the team doesn’t have much confidence in Gaskins, who has been with San Francisco off and on since 2014. Draughn also got work ahead of Thomas, a well-regarded veteran who also signed within the last week.

It’s hard to trust any of these players from a fantasy perspective, but if you’re desperate for a flex, Draughn is the guy until Carlos Hyde is back from his foot injury.
