According to Mike Evans, there’s nothing that should stand in the way of his return to the lineup in Week Two. Evans said Thursday, via Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times, that his hamstring is 100 percent. Evans isn’t guaranteeing he’ll be on the field against the Saints, however. He said he’ll practice Thursday and Friday and that his status for the game will come down to how he feels on Saturday.

Evans returned to practice last Friday and said he felt he was “capable of playing” against Tennessee, which would seem to be a good sign for how he’ll feel when it comes time to make the decision for this week. (Pro Football Talk)

Nerdy Football Analysis: Last year, this news would have brought about much rejoicing. However, given how little Evans and rookie QB Jameis Winston worked together during the preseason and how bad the Bucs looked in Week 1, it is fair to wonder just how much impact his return will have for fantasy owners. Regardless, he needs to be in fantasy lineups as soon as he is cleared to play, whether that moment comes this week or next.
