The Jets on Friday made the expected official, as they ruled out star cornerback Darrelle Revis for Sunday’s home game against the Dolphins. Revis sustained a concussion in last week’s loss at the Texans. “He comes in for the morning, for treatment, and then he gets sent home,” Jets coach Todd Bowles said of Revis’ status. “He’s doing a little better each day, but not good enough for physical activity. There’s always a concern when somebody gets a concussion, so we’re trying to take our time and get it right with him.” Bowles said he’s not sure how far along Revis is in the NFL’s post-concussion assessment protocol, which will determine when he can practice and play again. Nerdy Football Analysis: Revis’ absence should give Jarvis Landry and Rishard Matthews a little more space to get free in the Jets’ secondary this Sunday.
