Devonta Freeman, Julio Jones, Matt Ryan's Post-Week 3 Fantasy Advice

Tevin Coleman owners weren’t happy campers Sunday. While the promising rookie was out injured, Devonta Freeman was rushing for three touchdowns against the Dallas Cowboys—another indication that Coleman and Freeman will end up splitting touches once the rookie returns from injury.

That means Freeman has value as a nice flex consideration for the next few weeks, but once Coleman returns, neither player will have a ton of upside. Coleman is still the player you should prioritize owning, as he’ll likely be the team’s “starter,” though the pair should share a pretty even workload.

As for Matt Ryan and Julio Jones, both remain weekly starters for fantasy owners.

Ryan is a low-end QB1 who is a safe option each week, even if he doesn’t have the elite upside of other players at his position. Jones, meanwhile, is one of the most explosive players in the NFL and will be a locked-and-loaded WR1 all season long.

Barring an injury, Jones is a must-start player every single week, while Ryan is a safe starter who is best paired with another decent quarterback, which would allow you to play matchups on a weekly basis.
