InjuryStatus “to be determined”

Malcom Floyd has sacrificed his body for deep passes since 2004.

There is a chance the one Monday was his last.

The Chargers wide receiver suffered a torn left labrum, a source said following an MRI on Tuesday. It remains to be seen if that play will be the final one of his NFL career. Floyd, 34, long has planned to retire after the 2015 season.

The team is not rushing how it proceeds with Floyd.

Nerdy Football Analysis: It’s very likely that Floyd will miss the remainder of the season but a determination on his availability has yet to be made. Expect Dontrelle Inman to move into a starting role along with Steve Johnson if Floyd is indeed out.
