More surgery on right foot
The Dallas Cowboys have, in fact, shut down Dez Bryant.
Bryant will be placed on injured reserve Wednesday, ending his season with one game to play because of foot and ankle injuries.
Coach Jason Garrett said Bryant is expected to have another surgery on his right foot as well as ankle in the near future. He said the Cowboys don’t believe Bryant came back too soon from the initial surgery in September. (ESPN)
Nerdy Football Analysis: It was a lost season for the Cowboys star receiver who injured his foot Week 1 causing him to miss the next five weeks. Bryant never had more than 5 receptions in any game and only topped 100 receiving yards once. He should be ready for training camp in July.
