Knee injury
Falcons running back Devonta Freeman, who was hit late in the Eagles’ game and has a sore knee, will be held out of practice Wednesday, according to coach Dan Quinn.
“Free is sore and we’ll hold him from practice today,” Quinn said. “He got hit in the game, but nothing that’s more than we can treated it goes from day to day. Freeman played 39 of 70 offensive snaps (56 percent), while Tevin Coleman played 36 of 70 snaps (51 percent). (Atlanta Jounal Constitution)
Nerdy Football Analysis: This doesn’t appear to be a serious injury but we’ll have to monitor Freeman’s practice reports throughout the week. Tevin Coleman would see increased usage if Freeman were to miss Week 2 against the Panthers. Running back Brian Hill as added from the practice squad.
