Asked about DeVante Parker seemingly being phased out (Dolphins appear very likely to move on), OC Dowell Loggains said: “It’s a combination of injuries, production, practice.” (Miami Herald – Barry Jackson)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Kenyan Drake and Parker are arguably the two most talented veteran players on offense, yet Miami has found a way to neutralize both. Loggains isn’t wrong for citing Parker’s injuries as an obstacle in his development, but the Dolphins bear some responsibility for not putting him in a great environment to succeed when he has been healthy. Parker figures to have plenty of suitors in the likely event he hits free agency this spring.
