Repair core muscle injury
#Eagles WR DeSean Jackson is having surgery to repair a core muscle injury tomorrow, sources say. Based on the timing, it appears unlikely he’ll play again this season. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: It’s going to be a lost season for D-Jax who originally suffered his core injury in Week 2 after posting 8-154-2 in Week 1. The other Eagles receivers haven’t really stepped up in Jackson’s absence leaving the bulk of receiving work to tight ends Zack Ertz, Dallas Goedert and running back Miles Sanders. Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor and Mack Hollins fill out the top three wideouts.
