Finished Week 8 after having foot looked at in first half
Titans’ RB Derrick Henry suffered a potentially season-ending foot injury during Sunday’s 34-31 win over Indianapolis, sources reported ESPN. Henry is undergoing an MRI today to determine the full extent of the damage. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Henry was getting his foot looked yesterday but did finish the game but had his worst performance of the season (28-68-0). He’s been very durable throughout his carreer missing only 3 games in five-plus seasons. He’s racked up 219 carries in 8 weeks this year and become a dominant force at the running back position. If he misses time, we’ll likely see more passing from the Titans offense. Jeremy McNichols is next up on the depth chart. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the the Titans make a trade for a running back.
