Sammy Watkins, Emmanuel Sanders optimistic about TNF
For the Thursday night game, the Broncos are optimistic that WR Emmanuel Sanders (knee) will play, while the #Chiefs have a good shot at having WR Sammy Watkins back, too. He tweaked his hamstring late last week and missed Sunday’s game. (NFL Network – Ian Rapoport)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Sanders was bothered by a knee injury during the week and appeared to aggravate it during the team’s Week 6 win over the Titans, but the injury does not appear to have anyone with the organization concerned. Watkins sat out Week 6 after injuring his hamstring the previous week, but there is optimism he can go versus the Broncos. The bigger problem with him is his limited production since Week 1.
