RB dealing with strained hamstring
The Philadelphia Eagles will have DeMarco Murray in the backfield for a Week 3 game against the New York Jets despite a hamstring limiting him in practice earlier in the week. According to ESPN’s Ashley Fox, Murray’s hamstring is feeling good enough to play on after it ended his practice on Wednesday. An MRI showed that it was just a minor tweak, but the running back still sat out of practice on Thursday. (SB Nation)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Murray hasn’t been much of a fantasy factor thus far, and a sore hamstring isn’t likely to help his case this weekend. It’s hard to believe, but another poor showing this week combined with a nagging hamstring could put last year’s top fantasy RB in flex territory going forward.
