Strained knee suffered in camp
DeAndre Hopkins suffered a strained knee injury Wednesday or Thursday and indications are he could miss four to six weeks. If he returns to action after four weeks he’d have a full week to prepare for the season-opener in Chicago. Six weeks out would mean he’d miss the Bears’ game and could be ready just before the Week Two home opener against the Jets. Though a precautious six weeks out could mean two games missed. Nerdy Football Analysis: Those drafting early should brace for a two-game absence from Hopkins as he recovers from this knee issue. Tennessee is expected to open up it’s passing game this season but maybe without it’s top receiver to start the season. Calvin Ridley, Tyler Boyd and Treylon Burks figure to be the top three receivers should Hopkins miss any games.
