Hopkins dealing with calf injury
Texans Pro Bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins not practicing and is expected to miss his first career game Sunday due to a calf injury. Having a first team All-Pro caliber year with NFL high 13 touchdown catches. Has played in 79 consecutive games. (Aaron Wilson on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Even with a 79 consecutive games played streak, the Texans are wise to sit out their star receiver if he is indeed hobbled. Hopkins made the most out his season despite a revolving door at QB to finish with a 96-1378-13 line. He’ll be a top 5 pick at his position in drafts next summer.
