Thigh injury sidelined him in Week 3
Lions coach Dan Campbell said he’s “starting to feel pretty good about” RB David Montgomery (thigh) and LT Taylor Decker (ankle) returning to play Thursday night against the #Packers.

Nerdy Football Analysis: The Lions made the prudent move in resting Montgomery in Week 3, especially knowing they had a division game coming up on a short week. While the Packers have been a favorable fantasy matchup for running backs through three games, they have been effective in slowing them down in two of them. Nevertheless, Montgomery remains a solid RB2 option if he plays on Thursday. Expect Jahmyr Gibbs to return to his Week 1 and Week 2 workload of about 7-8 carries and five or so receptions.
