Rookie QB gets the nod, Eli Manning benched

Nerdy Football Analysis: This means Eli Manning can be safely dropped, if you were still holding onto some hope of a resurgence for the veteran QB. The official tweet from the Giants came with a big picture of Jones — a dead ringer for a young Jim Carrey — staring awkwardly into the camera in his press photo. The Giants putrid offensive line won’t help Jones pile up big fantasy stats, but the weak defense should help from a yardage standpoint. Still — Jones is likely going to turn the ball over a lot when he’s not giving it to stud RB Saquon Barkley, so he’s not worth adding in most formats.
