Cowboys K might be worth sitting until he’s 100 percent
While kicker Dan Bailey played on Sunday in San Francisco, his ailing back has the Cowboys at least working on contingency plans in case he can’t play this week against the Bengals.
Head coach Jason Garrett said on Monday there is no immediate plan to bring in other kickers this week, but didn’t rule it out. (DallasCowboys.com)
Nerdy Football Analysis: It might be a good idea to pick up a kicker before lineups lock, especially if you’re in a league that penalizes for missed kicks. Bailey has uncharacteristically missed kicks in consecutive week sand could be liability. Mason Crosby and Caleb Sturgis are available in plenty of leagues since they are both coming off byes.
