InjuryBears will be without two key offensive pieces against Seahawks

The Chicago Bears are officially Jimmy Clausen’s team this week. Coach John Fox announced that quarterback Jay Cutler is out Sunday with a hamstring injury, giving Clausen the start against the Seattle Seahawks. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported earlier this week Cutler would miss at least two weeks. In Week 2 versus the Arizona Cardinals, Clausen went 14-of-23 passing for 121 yards, one interception and a 56.6 passer rating in relief of Cutler. Clausen is 1-10 as an NFL starter. His only win came over John Skelton and the Cardinals in Week 15, 2010. Fox also announced receiver Alshon Jeffery would miss Sunday’s contest as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury. Jeffery missed last week’s tilt with the injury. (NFL.com)

Nerdy Football Analysis: Steer clear of Jimmy Clausen and Eddie Royal this week if you have any other options. Matt Forte and Martellus Bennett are the only Bears’ players worth starting this week.
