The Dolphins are trying to make a final medical determination on Ryan Tannehill. And if Tannehill has season-ending knee surgery, Cutler appears a viable option. (Palm Beach Post)
Nerdy Football Analysis: While there’s been no official diagnosis on Tannehill’s knee injury, it’s obvious the Dolphins are preparing for a lengthy absence from their starting quarterback. Cutler and Adam Gase have spent time together in the league and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Cutler was signed should Tannehill be lost for the season.
