Will miss the next four games
Falcons’ running back Cordarrelle Patterson has been placed on injured reserve due to his knee injury, meaning he’s out at least the next four games. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Patterson will be eligible to return in Week 9 against the Chargers. In the meantime, Tyler Allgeier and Caleb Huntley will handle the bulk of the rushing duties the next few weeks against the Bucs, 49ers, Bengals and Panthers. The Falcons ran the ball 14-straight times yesterday against the Browns. Huntley posted a 10-56-1 line with 0 targets in Week 4.
