Rams’ WR Cooper Kupp will be considered day to day with the sprained ankle that he suffered Sunday, per sources. Given Kupp’s history with ankle injuries, the Rams will be careful with him as they determine whether he can play Sunday vs. the Cardinals. (ESPN – Adam Schefter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: The bad news is that Kupp injured the same right ankle that sidelined him for a chunk of last season. The good news is this is reportedly a low-ankle sprain instead of the high-ankle one that ultimately ended his year in 2022. Fantasy managers should prepare for the Rams to use extreme caution and sit him out this week and react accordingly if the injury turns out to be minor. Given the way the last month has gone, his ceiling appears to be as a WR2 at best right now. Puka Nacua would likely see a nice boost to his fantasy stock if Kupp has to sit.
