Mattison dealing with ankle injury
I’m told Alexander Mattison dealing with an ankle sprain that happened on first play of last drive vs Detroit. Dealing with swelling and pain right now, hasn’t practiced. Seems like a long shot to play. (Andrew Krammer on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: The Vikings don’t play until Monday night giving all of their injured players another day to heal but at this point in time it seems likely that Mike Boone and Ameer Abdullah will handle the majority of running back touches against the Packers. Boone is shaping up as a mid-range RB2 in Week 16.
