Two-year deal
Miami Dolphins and RB Chase Edmonds reached agreement on a two-year, $12.6 million deal that includes $6.1 million guaranteed, per his agent @DrewJRosenhaus. The former Cardinals’ running back is headed to Miami. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: The Dolphins were using a RBBC last season that included Myles Gaskin, Salvon Ahmed, Phillip Lindsay, Duke Johnson and Malcolm Brown. Lindsay and Brown are both unrestricted free agents. It’s safe to assume Edmonds will be part of a committee but hopefully it’s just a committee of two, allowing for some weekly flex appeal.
