Knee injury
At running back, the situation is no better, with starter Doug Martin expected to miss a third straight game with a hamstring injury, and his replacement, Charles Sims, held out of practice again Friday with a knee injury. That leaves Jacquizz Rodgers — signed off the street in Week 2 as a free agent — and rookie Peyton Barber, who hasn’t taken an offensive snap in the first four games. (Tampa Tribune)
Nerdy Football Analysis: It’s looking more and more like Rodgers will get the start Monday night against the Panthers although Sims has yet be ruled out. Rodgers would have a RB2 ceiling as the Bucs project to be playing from behind.
